1 cup flour (or gluten-free flour)
1/2 cup milk
1 tbsp sugar
1/4 tsp cinnamon
4 medium persimmons, sliced into rings
Oil for frying
1/2 cup sugar + 1 tbsp cinnamon (for coating)


Mix flour, milk, sugar, and cinnamon into a smooth batter. Slice persimmons, remove centers with a bottle cap. Heat oil in a frypan to 175°C (350°F). Dip persimmon slices in batter and carefully aid into the oil. Shallow fry until golden. Coat with cinnamon sugar mixture while warm. Serve and enjoy!
